Description
edge-VMNTA runs on small hardware appliances provided by Prilink. It can analyze network packets from any source VM through a VXLAN tunnel. edge-VMNTA is designed for monitoring heavy cloud-edge or on-premise traffic. Bandwidth capacity is 2.5 Gbps or 20 Gbps, depending on which hardware model is selected.
Procedures
- Connect the edge traffic collector hardware unit to your network and assign an IP address.
- Run our setup script on any source VM that you wish to monitor to enable the VXLAN tunnel. Enter the IP address of the edge traffic collector from step 1.
- Access your dashboard using the URL provided by Prilink. You can view real-time network insights from any desktop or mobile web browser.
- Download t-console, a Windows application for metadata storage, network forensics, packet capture and report generation.
Network traffic analytics (NTA) can be viewed through a web-based dashboard (see demo dashboard), or by using the t-console client, a Windows App that provides year-round network visualization for network security, QoS and compliance audits
